Artisan Blu by John Varvatos is a men's eau de toilette from 2016 — here the word “Cologne” in the title is correct, as this is an EDT spray. Do not confuse it with Gilles Cantuel's Arsenal Blue, a different fragrance from a different house.
Bergamot, basil, lavender, chayote, and bitter orange open fresh and green. Geranium, palmarosa, orange blossom, clary sage, and iris give the middle a clean aromatic lift. Pine, cedar, pistachio, tamarisk, and patchouli ground the base.
Fresh and Mediterranean, it suits daytime and warm weather. Varvatos citrus at its best.
