London Cologne is the 2006 Burberry Eau de Toilette for men, an oriental spicy composition by perfumer Antoine Maisondieu. It is a warm, characterful scent built around spice, leather and woods. Bergamot and lavender open the fragrance, cut with cinnamon leaves and black pepper for an aromatic, peppery spark. Mimosa and leather form the center, lending a soft floral contrast to a rich, supple animalic tone. The dry-down moves through tobacco leaf, guaiac wood, opoponax and oakmoss, smoky, woody and resinous. London wears as a bold, distinctive evening scent with a distinctly British character.
