Sauvage Eau de Parfum by Christian Dior is the 2018 eau de parfum expression of the original — the second of three 'Sauvage Cologne' listings here. Bergamot and lemon open the scent with a bright, candied citrus charge. The heart deepens into spice: Sichuan pepper and lavender over star anise and nutmeg. Ambroxan and vanilla form the base, warmer and smoother than the toilette's dry-down. The overall effect is richer and more enveloping than the 2015 original, with a pronounced sweet-amber warmth. This EDP suits evenings and cooler weather, wearing with more presence than its sibling.
