It begins with a sparkling citrus accord of lime, lemon and bergamot lifted by aldehydes, green notes, lavender and a flicker of cardamom. The heart turns more floral and textured as carnation and rose meet jasmine, powdery orris root, vetiver, patchouli and cedar. In the dry-down, honey, vanilla and tonka bean soften the blend while tobacco, amber, heliotrope and oakmoss keep its classic chypre structure intact. Musk rounds the finish with a quiet warmth.
