Eau de Cartier by Cartier is a citrus aromatic eau de toilette for women and men, launched in 2001. The name gives no concentration clue, but both FragranceOutlet and Perfumania list the original release as an EDT. It opens on yuzu, bergamot and coriander — sparkling, green and unmistakably fresh. Violet leaf, violet and lavender shape a clean, powdery heart. Cedar, musk, white amber and patchouli give the base a soft woody warmth beneath the citrus. Created by Christine Nagel, the scent is minimalist and luminous, a modern classic in understated freshness. Not to be confused with the line's many flankers, this is the original Eau de Cartier.
