Ellen Tracy by Ellen Tracy is the brand's classic flagship women's Eau de Parfum, an opulent oriental woody composition. It is a different fragrance from the later Ellen flanker, with a far richer and more complex structure. Layers of fruit, florals and woods unfold across a grand, old-school pyramid.
The opening is abundant: peach, plum, cinnamon, galbanum, hyacinth, osmanthus, bergamot, green notes and lemon. The middle is a full floral bouquet of orris root, aldehydes, rose, orchid, tuberose, ylang-ylang, carnation, freesia, jasmine and lily of the valley. Sandalwood, musk, cedar, amber, oakmoss, tonka bean and raspberry form a deep, resinous base.
Its richness and depth make it best suited to evenings and special occasions.
