Emblem Intense by Montblanc is the stronger, spicier flanker to the original Emblem, an Eau de Toilette for men launched in 2014. Like the original, the title says Cologne but the concentration is Eau de Toilette. Coriander replaces grapefruit in the opening for a bolder, warmer first impression.
Cardamom, clary sage and coriander open with a spicy, aromatic punch. Violet leaves, Pomarose, nutmeg and cinnamon deepen the middle with a fruity rose accord and warm spice. Woody notes, patchouli, tonka bean and suede give the base a rich, leathery depth.
Its added warmth and richness make it especially suited to cooler weather.
