Encre Noire by Lalique is the original men's Eau de Toilette from 2006, created by Nathalie Lorson. The 'Cologne' in its title is discounter naming; officially it is an Eau de Toilette.
It is a woody aromatic built around a single, powerful idea: vetiver. Cypress opens the composition with a dark green edge. Bourbon and Haitian vetiver flood the middle with smoky, grassy intensity. Cashmere wood and musk soften the base into a dry, woody finish.
