This is the 2019 Eternity for Men Eau de Parfum — a full reworking of the classic, not simply a stronger version of the 1989 original. Composed by perfumer Pascal Gaurin, it is a woody eau de parfum for men with its own distinct character.
Sage, apple, and ozonic notes begin with a crisp, modern freshness. Provençal lavender, nutmeg, cypress, and geranium give the middle a dry, aromatic greenness. Ambergris, cypriol, orris root, suede, and vetiver bring the base to a smooth, leathery woodiness. Its refined woods make it well suited to office wear and evenings.
