The women's Eau de Parfum version of Hanae Mori Butterfly, sold under the simple name Hanae Mori Perfume, dates to the scent's 1995 debut in the fruity floral family. It opens with the signature berry accord: wild strawberry, blackberry, blackcurrant, and bilberry, juicy and luminous. The heart blooms with Bulgarian rose, ylang-ylang, jasmine, and French peony in a lush romantic bouquet. Rosewood, almond wood, sandalwood, and cedar give the dry-down a creamy, polished warmth.
The Eau de Parfum concentration gives it a fuller, richer character than the Eau de Toilette. It remains one of the most romantic fruity florals ever made.
