From Sean John comes I Am King, a men's eau de toilette first released in 2008 by perfumers Karyn Khoury and Trudi Loren. Do not let the "Cologne" in the listing fool you — this is an eau de toilette, and a commanding one. The composition starts on tart cranberry, tangerine and orange. A marine accord of sea water and cassis runs through the middle, cool and crisp. The dry-down leans woody and masculine: Amalfi lemon over cedar, sandalwood, French labdanum, vetiver and oakmoss. Bold, fresh and self-assured — a modern woody aquatic for men.
