White pepper and earl grey tea meet mandarin, crisp apple and a rice-and-sake nuance in a bright, slightly spicy opening. Pink freesia, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, honeysuckle, orange blossom and rose unfurl at the center in a generous white-floral heart. The dry-down turns creamy and warm with sandalwood, orris, amber and musk, grounded by a trace of pepper. The balance of tea, flowers and soft woods gives it a clean yet sensual character. It wears well from day into evening and suits year-round wear. Though the catalog title says "perfume," this is the true eau de parfum concentration.
