Flower by Kenzo is the original Eau de Parfum for women, launched in 2000 and created by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Christian Dussoulier.
Because the poppy itself has no scent, Morillas imagined what the flower would smell like, and that invention shaped this powdery floral icon.
Bulgarian rose, hawthorn, black currant, and mandarin orange give the opening a soft, powdery, slightly fruity character.
Rose, Parma violet, jasmine, and opoponax deepen the middle into a velvety floral bouquet with a resinous warmth.
Incense, white musk, and vanilla settle the dry-down into a smooth, powdery finish that stays close and comforting.
This is the original Eau de Parfum, distinct from the lighter Eau de Toilette and the later flankers of the line.
