Lalique Le Parfum is the house's 2005 eau de parfum for women, an oriental composed by Dominique Ropion. Warm spice, white florals, and a creamy oriental base give it a rich, enveloping character.
The opening pairs West Indian bay leaf with bergamot and pink pepper. The bay brings a distinctive spicy-green warmth, brightened by bergamot and pink pepper's gentle bite. The middle layers jasmine and heliotrope with almond. Heliotrope lends a powdery, cherry-almond softness that smooths the florals into the almond's nuttiness.
The base rests on sandalwood, tonka bean, patchouli, and vanilla. Sandalwood and tonka give the dry-down a creamy sweetness, while patchouli adds depth beneath the vanilla.
