La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme is the 2012 eau de parfum for women that started the line, composed by Olivier Polge, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion. Pear and black currant open with juicy, sparkling fruit. The heart is a floral-gourmand bloom: iris, orange blossom and jasmine, powdery and luminous. Praline and vanilla melt into the base, rich and caramel-sweet. Patchouli adds an earthy counterweight beneath the sweetness, and tonka bean rounds the finish with creamy warmth. The original remains the richest, most gourmand of the La Vie Est Belle family. A warm, enveloping floral gourmand for evenings.
