Prada Amber Eau de Parfum is the Italian house's celebrated 2004 amber-woody creation for women, listed under its familiar 'Perfume' title but holding the richer eau de parfum concentration.
It belongs to the oriental family, built around a warm, resinous amber core.
Bergamot, fruity accents and green notes lift the opening with bright sparkle, edged by an unusual whisper of tarragon.
Then golden honey takes over, wrapped in carnation, ylang-ylang, jasmine and rose for a sweet, full-bloomed middle.
The dry-down runs deep and resinous: patchouli, amber, benzoin, sandalwood and vanilla resting on oakmoss and soft musk.
