Rumba Passion by Ted Lapidus is an oriental floral eau de toilette — despite the 'Perfume' in the catalog title, this 2012 flanker of the 1989 Rumba is an EDT. The opening blends bergamot and rose with the warm, apricot-like depth of davana. Jasmine and orange blossom form a rich floral heart, wrapped in the resinous sweetness of cistus. Patchouli, vanilla and honey ground the dry-down in cozy amber warmth. It is richer and softer than its predecessor, with a romantic evening feel. A warm oriental floral for nights out and cooler months.
