Samba for Women by Perfumer's Workshop is the original 1987 women's fragrance — despite the 'Perfume' in the catalog title, this is an eau de toilette. Peach, cassis and citrus open the scent with a juicy brightness, sharpened by tagetes and galbanum. The heart is a full floral bouquet: rose, clove, magnolia, violet, lily-of-the-valley, hyacinth and jasmine. The dry-down is classic eighties — musk and myrrh over oakmoss, violet, sandalwood and patchouli. The result is lush, green and romantic, with a vintage floral depth. Samba suits evenings and cooler days, when its richness can bloom. A grand floral EDT with true eighties character.
