Velvet Oud by Lattafa is an eau de parfum for all wearers, a 2018 composition with Middle Eastern character. Cardamom and bergamot open with a spiced, sparkling lift. Violet leaf and patchouli shape the heart — green, earthy and quietly floral. The base of suede, oud, amber, musk and oakmoss is where the fragrance finds its depth, smooth leather and smoky wood wrapped in warmth. Despite the name, this shares nothing with the Dolce & Gabbana Velvet line; it is a Lattafa original. It wears rich and assured, a natural pick for evenings and cooler air.
