Xeryus by Givenchy is a 1986 eau de toilette for men created by perfumer Alberto Morillas, a classic woody aromatic of remarkable complexity. The opening is a green, herbal fanfare: lavender, bergamot, citrus, green notes, and a host of florals from jasmine to ylang-ylang.

Cypress, juniper berries, geranium, tarragon, and spice shape a richly aromatic heart. Oakmoss, balsam fir, leather, vetiver, amber, cedar, incense, and musk build a deep, mossy, leathery base. Bold and unapologetically old-school, Xeryus is a landmark of 1980s masculine perfumery.
