Y L'Elixir by Yves Saint Laurent is the 2024 Parfum, the highest concentration in the Y line despite the cologne title, described as its haute couture expression. Bergamot essence, ginger essence, elemi and a saffron accord open with striking radiance. Diva lavender heart, sage essence, juniper and living geranium form a lush aromatic core. Fir balsam absolu, olibanum, cypriol, patchouli and oud essences drive a deeply resinous base. Master perfumer Dominique Ropion built this around lavish lavender, geranium and oud rather than the familiar apple accord. The most opulent and intricate of the Y flankers.
