Y Live Eau de Toilette Intense by Yves Saint Laurent is the 2019 flanker, a cologne in name only, as the true concentration is EDT Intense. Composed by Dominique Ropion, it plays light against dark in the fougere tradition. Bergamot, primofiore lemon, ginger and elemi essences open with luminous citrus. Orange blossom joins juniper, clary sage, lavender and geranium blossom in a glowing aromatic heart. Cocoa blossom, cedarwood, balsam and frankincense essences, grey amber accord, heart tonka and vanilla extract complete a warm, enveloping base. The orange blossom and cocoa pairing gives this Y its distinctive duality.
